The Engine: 5.6-liter (5,552cc) 32-valve V8 engine, aluminum-alloy block and heads. Dry film-coated pistons.
Valvetrain: Double overhead camshaft (DOHC), 4 valves per cylinder with microfinished camshafts. Direct injection Gasoline. Variabe Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) and Continuosly Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) optimizes opening of intake and exhaust valves.
